Had steamboat thrice in two weeks!! And probably my first steamboat lunch on one occasion!

I met up with Ben, Eugene and MingXian for dinner. We decided to have steamboat at 天天火锅 at Bugis. We stayed there for about 2 hours.
It had been quite sometime since I last saw Mx. The last was probably the Swenson's dinner since I did not see him at CNB during the Navy Openhouse. It's good to hear that Ben is keeping in close contact with him and Jeth. And since Ben keeps pestering me to go out with him, I think I'll be able to meet up with the rest of the guys more often. =)
And Mx loves pig liver.. =X

Had a birthday lunch with the Bbtea Gang. It was a steamboat lunch at AMK. The interesting thing about the steamboat was that we could choose porridge as "soup". The porridge was very watery, and there were sweet potato bits in it. We were advised to constantly stir the soup so as to prevent the porridge from getting burnt.
We took lots of food and could not finish them. In order not to waste the food (and probably to avoid paying for wastages), we played the "I never.." game to clear up the remaining 料 in the soup. And poor Mq was our target. =X Had lots of fun!!
We stayed at the steamboat place for almost 3 hours before leaving. =)

Went out for a steamboat dinner with Caleb, KheeSiong and JunMing. Besides my trip to taiwan with Ks, this was our first gathering outside of camp. We went to a steamboat place at Bugis recommended by Caleb.
We got a chicken soup and a 麻辣 one. And since the 麻辣 soup was too spicy, Jm tried to make the soup less spicy by removing the chilli oil and pepper seeds in the soup. *haha* If only they heed my advice and chose tomyam instead. =)
Caleb and I took too many food and we played the "I never.." game to finish up the food. And our target was *drumroll* Jm!! X) Fun!!
Shopped a bit at Bugis before heading for home.
1. I shall abstain from steamboat for the next month.
2. The "I never.." game that I learnt at Deroose's party is really useful in situations when we want to clear out food.
3. And I love cooking beef slices during steamboats.
